Germany will hosts this year’s competition for youth and wheelchair athletes
The WPA World 9-Ball Championships for Juniors, Girls and Wheelchair athletes are to be held from December 5th – 7th, 2012, in Sauerland Stern Hotel, Kneippweg 1, Willingen, Germany.
The Sauerland Stern Hotel has been the venue for several big pool billiard events in the past. This year, 32 junior players, 16 girls and 12 wheelchair athletes will compete in the main event for the crown of 9- ball pool. The title of a “World Champion” is the most prestigious achievement in any sports. That promises top quality pool with drama and excitement. The entry for spectators is free during the entire event.
Just before the start of the Championships, a qualifier takes place in the venue. 25 junior players and 6 girl players will try to find a spot in the main field and get their share of the way to glory.

The event will be hosted by the European Governing Body for Pool, the European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF) in conjunction with the WPA and organized by International Billiard Promotion (IBP).
