World Mixed Doubles: Qualifier

Press Release - Hangzhou, China - Some of the greatest women and men players in the world will arrive in China once again, this time to play together as a team at the 2nd Annual World Mixed Doubles! Global billiards promoter Dragon Promotions will be producing the event on November 30- Decemeber 2, 2011. This will be the first event produced in China by a foreign international company and working in cooperation with their local partner 9 Club Entertainment and sanctioned by the Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association. The event will pair the top men's and women's players together as a two-person team, with a total of 16 teams from around the world. Last year had top talents such as Mika Immonen, Shane Van Boening, Shanelle Loraine, Kaori Ebe and more competed in this unique and excting event. Efren "Magician" Reyes and Rubilen Amit of the Philippines won the inaugural first event.
All players are welcomed to qualify for the main event through a 1 day qualifier on November 28, 2011 at 9-Club in Hangzhou, China. The stage 1 qualifier event will take place near the main event venue.
The format will be:
10-Ball
Race to 8 Double elimination
Champion of the event will receive free entry to the World Mixed Doubles
Players meeting 11am. Matches begins 11:30am.
Entry Fee $100 per team
