World 10-Ball Championships in Manila

The knock-out stages are taking shape in Manila at the World 10-Ball Championship. Mario Morra got off to a slow start after a first round loss to Yousseff Jalal. Mario quickly recovered with wins over Victor Arpilleda (9-8) and Raymund Faron (9-6) to earn a spot in the 64 player single knockout bracket. The younger John Morra was not as fortunate after losing to Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz and Shin-Yong Park from Korea.
The ever consistent Jason Klatt is into knockout bracket after a strong performance against Karl Boyes (9-5) and Imran Ibrahim (9-1). Updated tournament brackets can be found at www.wpa-pool.com .
