Who needs their own cue?

It was another heated event at Shooters Snooker Club. By late afternoon there were only 12 players remaining. On the A side there was Vishal Mor vs Kevin Oliveira and Ian Argue vs Terry Demeo. On the B side there were 4 matches. Trever Arnold vs Garland Tully, Art Bertoni vs Bryan Boulton, Rob Hall vs Teen Yan and last but not least Rocky Manserra vs Vince Belanger.
As the tournament continued, Vishal edged out a win against Kevin Oliveria in a close hill-hill match. Simultaneously Terry continued his hot streak to beat the ever so consistent Ian Argue. On the B side Vince made quick work of Rocky and further went on to take out tournament favourite Rob Hall. On the upper side of the B bracket Art Bertoni was triumphant against Bryan Boulton and Trevor Arnold only to run into the wall that is Kevin Oliveira.
As the night went on, Terry Demeo closes out a hill-hill match versus Vishal Mor. This lead to Vishal waiting for the winner of the B side match between Kevin Oliveira and Ian Argue. In a back and forth battle Ian remained calm to eliminate Kevin from the tournament 5-4 and now has to face Vishal in the B side final match. Vishal dominates Ian with a 6-1 win in an attempt to get revenge over earlier opponent Terry Demeo in the event’s last match of the night.
Both Terry and Vishal have made shooters history by having an all house cue final. As this is not a special event both players only need to win one set to take home the title. It was a hot day and a heated final, Vishal angered by his earlier hill-hill loss against Terry turned the tables in his favour to win another very close hill-hill match, thus coming out as Shooters Amateur 9 Ball Champion.

Additionally, Shooters would like to congratulate Vishal on his first tournament win at shooters and also praise Terry for fighting hard to stay on the A side right through to the final.
