"The Whiz" and "The Brawler" duke it out

Christmas is always a great time for friends and family to gather. Once again Petrina’s hosted its 3rd Annual Boxing Day Tournament. This was a free affair for pool players so long as they donated food or cash to Petrina’s food drive efforts which this year raised well over $2,000 and 5,000 lbs of food.
Forty six players gathered for this afternoon tournament and play was intense. The format was round-robin with the top twelve records advancing to the cash round. After 161 games were contested the best dozen records advanced to a single game, single elimination tournament. In the end there could be only one winner – Andy “The Whiz Miz” Mizan bested Brian “The Bar-Box Brawler” Belobradic in an intense game to win the event and bragging rights.
The big winner of the day was Don Eddie. As a bonus there was a random draw of first round winners for a trip to Las Vegas. Don Eddie won his first match and was the Trip Winner. Congrats Don Eddie.
