Waleed, the Undefeated Rising Star

On the 9th of July, 206, Shooters Snooker Club in North York, Toronto held the “8 and under’ 9 Ball event having 21 players registered! This Saturday was awaited by many upcoming amateurs so that they could present their practice and hard work they have had throughout the week. The Calcutta began at 12:30 pm and the games started at 1:00 pm roughly. After a few matches, the following was the update:
A Side Final:
Waleed M Hasheem vs Jesse Piercy
B Side Semi Final:
Darwin Madriaja vs Rodel Pinoy

Waleed thrashed Jesse by 7 games to 3 and was on the hot seat. Darwin beat Rodel by a score of 6-2 and was now ready to face Jesse Piercy. Jesse beat Darwin by 8 games to 5 and was ready to face Waleed. But it was Waleed M Hasheem who stayed calm on his stroke, bridge and stance to capture this championship by defeating Jesse by 7 games to 4.
Shoutout to Waleed for staying undefeated throughout the Tournament. Amazing stroke from our young superstar! Congratulations to all the winners of this tournament!
