USA Wins First Annual Americana Border Battle

The Americana Conference Resort Spa in Niagara Falls, Ontario was the host of the first Annual Americana Border Battle. The event was a huge success with 72 teams (about 550 players) from both the US and Canada. In the finals, "The Fun Ghouls" from New Jersey came out on top over "AKA Fully Loaded" from Barrie, Ontario.

Seven time Canadian Champion John Morra was in attendance. John was featured at the challenge-the-pro table courtesy of Hustlin USA. Hustlin USA Clothing is now available in Canada exclusively through T.J. Humber Tjhumber@hotmail.com. Onsite cue repairs were provided by "Master Cue Maker" Ron Benedict.
The event organized by the Canadian Pool Players Association (CPA/APA) and they will be expanding the field to 96 teams next year. These events make league play very enjoyable and rewarding for players of all skill levels. If you are not already on a team, contact your local league representative to sign up and start having fun.
