Upcoming NAPA Ontario Leagues Starting

Starting Sunday, March 30, we will be having a Sunday Afternoon No Skill Limit 8 Ball League at the Edge in Ajax, Ontario. The league will start at 2pm. No skill limit means that although the matches will be handicapped, teams will not have a limit on the skill levels they can play. This type of league let's the handicap system do it's job. The League will run until July 6 for the regular session, with the session winner qualifying for the NAPA Nationals in 2015. The playoffs will run at the same date and time. When the playoffs are over, the league will take a break until the second week in September. There will be no league play April 20, for Easter; May 18, for Victoria Day Weekend; and June 29 for Canada Day Weekend. There is no membership fee to join NAPA. In addition, as a benefit to NAPA Ontario players, they get their Canadian Cue Sports Association membership paid for in 2014. We need at least 4 teams of 3 players each to start this league.
Starting Tuesday, May 27, we will have the next session of our 9 Ball League. The League will run out of Petrinas in Ajax and will be a no skill limit league. League play starts at 7:30pm. The league will run from Tuesday May 27 to Tuesday July 27 for the regular session, with the session winners qualifying for the NAPA Nationals in 2015. The playoffs will run on the same day and time. When the playoffs are over, the league will take a break until the second week in September. There will be no league play on June 24, for NAPA Nationals; and no league play July 1, for Canada Day. There is no membership fee to join NAPA. In addition, as a benefit to NAPA Ontario players, they get their Canadian Cue Sports Association membership paid for in 2014. We need at least 4 teams of 3 players each to start this league.
Starting Thursday, May 29, we have the next session of our Thursday Night 8 Ball League. This will be run out of two locations if there are enough teams. The locations are Petrinas and the Edge in Ajax. Each location will be it's own inhouse league. Petrinas will be a skill limite league and the Edge will be a no skill limit league. League play will start at 7:30pm. The league will run frm May 29 until August 7 for the regular session, with the session winners qualifying for the NAPA Nationals in 2015. The playoffs will run on the same day and time. When the playoffs are over, the league will take a break until the second week in September. There will be no league play June 19 and June 26 for NAPA Nationals. There is no membership fee to join NAPA. In addition, as a benefit to NAPA Ontario players, they get their Canadian Cue Sports Association membership paid for in 2014. We need at least 4 teams of 3 players each to start this league.
Other leagues we are looking at starting as soon as we get enough interest is our Scotch Doubles League and our Laggers Choice League. We have locations in Ajax and Oshawa to run these leagues. When there is interest for any of our league throughout Ontario, we will coordinate to start them. We are currently working on expanding to Toronto, Kingston and Peterborough.
