Turning Stone Classic XVII

A full field of 128 players travelled to Verona, NY for the Turning Stone Classic XVII. Our local favourite, Alex Pagulayan suffered a second round loss to Rodney Morris (9-6). Alex then proceeded to win 11 straight matches on the B-Side to get a chance for revenge against Rodney who remained undefeated throughout this event.
With the break working well for both players in the finals, the pace was quick. Rodney “The Rocket” Morris jumped out to an early 6-2 lead and never looked back. Alex managed to string a few racks together near the end of the match, but it was not enough. The final score was 13-7 in favour of the Rocket.
