Shooters get Robbed by Hall

Another full field of 64 players filled out the tournament board at Shooters Snooker and Sports Club in Toronto. This was the 3rd event of the season. The fireworks started early with tournament favourites Erik Hjorleifson and John Morra squaring off in the third round. These two recently matched up at the US Open a few weeks ago where Morra took the win.  Erik was in fine form as he emerged out on top this time. Erik Hjorleifson kept his momentum going with wins over Isaac Ramos, Alan Ada and Hasan Shahid to secure his spot in the finals.

The story of this event was Rob Hall who suffered a second round loss to John Morra only to make his way back through the b-side knocking off one player at a time.   Rob did not lose another match as he took out Erik Hjorleifson in the finals with an 8-8 score.
