Shooters Snooker & Sports Club in North York, Ontario has introduced an EXTRAVAGANZA Series for handicaps “4 to 7” into 6 events and one magnanimous Finale. These events have pre- paid entries and qualifiers that allows players into the tournament. First 32 spots are worth $150, followed by $175 for the next 32 and $200 for the last 32 players in general. The Finale which is scheduled in May 2019 will then have a huge payout with all the 15% Holdback Money from the 6 Events plus Shooters Money Added!The first event was the “47” 9 Ball Event having 48 players in total. For the total prize payout being over $ 10,000, who wouldn’t want to make some change for Christmas?All things considered, Saturday, the 15th of December, 2018 kicked in; Pool players and supporters walked into the pool room with super high excitement levels as to who was going to win/perform in this very event.Peter Chin, the owner of the Pool Room performed a very dexterous Calcutta. The draw was done and the first few games kicked off. Right at the start of this event, a couple of upsets were seen as tough players were sent to the B Side right off the hop.
After a long....day and night of fierce battle, 8 players from Shooters “47” Extravaganza 9-ball Event came back at noon to compete for the Championship Title!

As the day progressed, Ryan G, Froland M, Ronald G and Aqeel M were victorious in their matches which left the tournament with:

Shooters “47” EXTRAVAGANZA 9-Ball Event finally concluded as Ryan Gammy took down the Championship title by defeating FrolandMagsanoc in the finals with $3,500 total cash payout. A very intense game that showed consistency, stamina and effort was put up by both finalists which was in favour of Ryan that led him to his victory in this event.Major Shout out goes to Ryan G, Froland M, Jake C, Toby H, Ronald G, Aqeel M, Sahinl N and Dave D for playing exceptionally well and attaining their respective wins.Field: 48 PlayersPrize Money: $7,250 (15% Holdback for the Finale, Green Fee)

This was the first of 6 Main Events from Shooters ”47” EXTRAVAGANZA Series. The next event will be take place on Jan 19-20, 2019 followed by the “47” Scotch Doubles on Feb 16-17, 2019.The date for the other 3 Main Events from “47” Extravaganza Series and one Grand Finale ( 15% hold back from each event plus Shooters Money Added ) will be announced soon! Qualifiers for this event will take place every Tuesday & Thursday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 12 noon.
