Robson wins first Corner Bank Cup Event

Saturday was the kick off to the Corner Bank Cup series of events along with being the first sanctioned event on the OBSA calendar. After a brief players meeting the draw was done a play began. There were a few upsets with the introduction of this new format but it would come down to Ben Chang and Jeff Robson in the finals after almost 16 hours of play. Jeff had to be beaten twice by Ben in this true double elimination event, but Jeff closed out the first match in a hill-hill decider to secure the win, cash and trophy !
 


Thanks to players, spectators and all who supported our first event. A friendly reminder event #2 is October 15-16 and once again Corner Bank will be adding $1,000 to this event, you can check our Facebook page for other dates and future events.
