Qualifiers at The Corner Bank

The Corner Bank will be hosting two "direct entry" snooker qualifiers for this summer's Canadian Snooker championships slated for June 7-14.

The first of these will be played the weekend of January 24th & 25th and the second will be played March 21st and 22nd.




Following are the event details:

1. Registrations will be taken up to 11am on the day, random draw to follow. Event will be unseeded.
2. Dress code - smart casual - dress shoes, dress pants and golf shirts are acceptable.
3. No MISS rule and cueball fouls only.
4. Entry fee: $50.
5. 100% of entry fee monies will be returned in prize money with the following breakdown:
Winner: 50%
Runner-Up: 25%
3rd-4th: 12.5% each
6. This event will be run by the national governing body (CBSA), Jim Wych tournament director.
7. All matches 4 out of 7 frames.
8. Eight new Shender snooker tables will be used.
