Payday in Reno - Bryant takes Gold for Canada

Here are the final results from the 21st Annual Bar Table Championships from the Grand Sierra Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada. The tournament was held February 24 - March 2, 2014 with $25,250 guaranteed added. This year marks the first year where the US Open One Pocket Championship also took place alongside the Bar Table Championships. The Bar Table matches were all played on 7’ Diamond Smart Tables, Simonis 860 Tour Blue Cloth, Magic Ball Rack and Cyclop Pool Balls.
The short race, bar tables format will guarantee plenty of surprises. The first surprise happened before the tournament started when professional player Rodney Morris was asked to leave the building. As a result of previous events, Rodney Morris has been banned from playing in all CSI events. The tournament just got a little easier for all the other players on the payroll.
Our Canadian men got their fair share of the cash with Jason Klatt, John Morra, Brady Gollan and Brian Butler all finishing deep into the field. In the ladies events, Brittany Bryant reached the podium in all three events.
