Pool action on a sunny island
Europe’s pool elite will meet tomorrow in the holiday resort Cratos Hotel & Spa in beautiful Kyrenia, North Cyprus, to play a Euro-Tour event for the first time in this country. The lovely scenario is breath-taking. White sand beaches surround a 5 star hotel with outstanding comfort facilities. It holds 16 pool tables in one of its conference centres. The setup is as professional as usually with all the equipment being built up within the stunning atmosphere. The Euro-Tour meets a holiday resort – an ideal opportunity for all participants to combine high quality sports with leisure time.
120 players will compete for points for European ranking points and a total prize fund of 34.000,-€, with 3.400,-€ going to the winner of the event. It is the last tournament of the regular 2012 Euro-Tour series with only the European Open coming up in November to complete the rankings for the current season. So far, there is only a distance of around 200 points between #1 and #10 on the rankings. This promises an exciting final for the season. Probably, the winner of the Tour will be determined at the last event. Excitement and action are bound to occur here in Kyrenia, North Cyprus. Play will begin on Thursday, October 18th at 09:00 local time. The final will be played on Saturday, October 20th, at 18:00 local time. Entry is free at all times.
The event can be viewed via LIVEStream of up to seven tables (exact number depending on technical circumstances) on www.kozoom.com.
The event is hosted by the European Governing Body for Pool, the European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF) and organized by International Billiard Promotion (IBP). For further information and reference please go to the federation website www.eurotouronline.eu , follow us
