New Snooker Canada Partnership Formed
Dec 10, 2016
It is with great pleasure to announce that Snooker Canada has formed a new partnership this week with a unique and prestigious organization.
The Royal Montreal Curling Club is the oldest sports club in North America and has been around for over 200 years (founded in 1807). A private club, RMCC is in the heart of downtown Montreal and aside from it’s curling facilities, it has an air of elegance and warmth for all of it’s members.
This week, a new snooker table has been installed on the second floor of the building and the reaction so far has been quite pleasing. Current members are inquiring, new members are joining and students from Concordia University are forming a group in order to prepare for the new league, which will take place shortly. Already in the works are plans for a coaching program, a junior program and a few other surprises.
