Souquet in the loser's round
Portoroz, Slovenia: In a real tough struggle, Marika Poikkijoki (FIN) remained victorious over Anastasia Nechaeva (RUS) with 6:5. The match was a head-to-head race at all times. It was also determined by many missed shots from both contestants which proved the amount of nervousness that was obviously striking them. But since both of them were affected, none could get a real advantage over the other player which cause dthe match to result in a 5:5 hill-hill situation. Poikkijoki was leading with one rack most of the time during the match so she decided to do that one more time. She won the 11th rack and took the match with 6:5 off Nechaeva.
