NAPA Ontario Presents It's First 8 Ball League in Oshawa... and It's Free!
Oshawa, ON – The North American Poolshooters Association of Ontario is starting it's first 8 Ball League in Oshawa at Riley's Pub on Monday nights. The league will start Monday, November 11, 2013 at 7:30pm. Teams of 4 to 6 players will play over 12 weeks to try and win cash prizes, as well as qualify for the NAPA 2014 Nationals which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia in June of 2014.
“This is great news” says League Operator Rob MacArthur. The real big news though, is the first 8 teams to register for the league will get their session fee back at the end of the season. In partnership with Riley's Pub in Oshawa, NAPA Ontario has created a very unique opportunity for pool players in the Oshawa area.  Riley's is sponsoring the kickoff league for Oshawa.
“Any of the first 8 teams that register their team and show up for all 12 weeks of competition, will get their session fee money back,” adds MacArthur, “this is in addition to any prize money they may win.”
Individuals and teams are encouraged to contact MacArthur to find out how they can register for the league. Individual players will be placed on teams on a first come, first serve basis.
Riley's Pub is located at 104 King Street East in Oshawa. Visit their web site at www.rileysoshawa.com.
NAPA Ontario administers 8 Ball, 9 Ball, 10 Ball, Lagger and Scotch Doubles Pool Leagues across Ontario, Canada. Teams play for cash prizes and to qualify for NAPA Nationals.
