NAPA Ontario Open Invitational 8 Ball Pool Tournament in Support of the Scanga Food Drive at Petrina's Billiards in Ajax on December 7, 2014
Durham Region – The Ontario Chapter of the North American Poolshooters Association and Petrina's Billiards Ajax are pleased to hold an Open Invitational 8 Ball Tournament at Petrina's Billiards on December 7th, 2014 in support of the Scanga Food Drive.
The Tournament is open to all pool players, whether they are NAPA players or not. The Tournament will play by NAPA Rules(www.naparules.com) and NAPA Races. Players without an up to date NAPA Handicap will be assigned one by the Tournament Director.
Cost to play for NAPA Players is $35.00. Cost to play for non-NAPA Players is $45.00. All players will pay an extra $15 Tournament Fee which will go towards the Tournament Director, the Food Drive Donation and The Petrina's Cup Tournament. Their will be a player auction before the tournament. The event will be getting under way at 10am.
The Tournament will be a Modified Single Elimination Format. You cannot lose after the first round. A-Side pays 60% in payouts. B-Side pays 40% in payouts There will be a Pizza luncheon for all players, as well as a Free Cue Raffle, a Free Entry Raffle and a Free NAPA Session Raffle, which each participant will get a free entry for. Any player bringing non-perishable food items will get an extra entry for all the raffles, as well as $5 off their entry fee.
Any participant that puts a $50 deposit down that day for their participation in an upcoming NAPA Ontario Session, will get 10% off their next NAPA Ontario Session Fee.
The Scanga Food Drive is run by the Scanga Family, local Ajax residents, and supports local food banks and St. Vincent dePaul.
