Week One Results for Winter/Spring Session of the NAPA Ontario Thursday Night 8 Ball League at Petrina's in Ajax
The winners of the regular session for the Winter Session of the NAPA Ontario Thursday Night 8 Ball League at Petrinas was The Lil Puckers. For winning the regular session, the Lil Puckers will receive $950.00 cash, qualification for the NAPA Nationals, and a bye in the first round of playoffs for Tier A. Getting a bye for the first round off playoffs in Tier B is 3 Raxx and 6 Balls.
Week 1 of the playoffs had some surprises, as well as some great battles for a wild card spot for Round 2.
In Tier A, 2nd Place The Underdogs, got beat by 5th Place I'm Solids Right 48 to 30. Third Place Drink Drank Drunk barely lost to 4th Place The Spoilers 35 to 34. Drink Drank Drunk got the Wild Card spot in Tier A by getting the most points, while I'm Solids Right and The Spoilers also advance to Round 2.
In Tier B, 7th Place John's 8 Ball Team was victorious over 10th Place The Rangers 51 to 21. Eighth Place Joel Call Your Pocket got smashed by 9th Place DWLLWGAF 56 to 12. The Rangers won the Tier B Wild Card spot by getting the most points, while John's 8 Ball Team and DWLLWGAF also advance to Round 2.
Playoff action continues next week.
The summer session starts on June 11th. There is still room for teams and individual players.
NAPA Ontario is also looking for players and teams for singles and team play in 8 and 9 Ball Leagues in Oshawa, Ajax, Whitby, Pickering, Peterborough, Scarborough and Mississauga.
