Mike Dechaine wins the Gotham City Classic
Oct 22, 2015
Congratulations to OB Pro Team member Mike Dechaine who just won the $11,000 added Gotham City Billiards Inaugural 9-Ball Pro Classic with an undefeated run through a star studded field of players this past weekend.
Mike's road to victory saw him beat James Stevens 10-1, Karl Boyes 10-3, Jeremy Sossei 10-7, Dennis Orcollo 10-7, Jorge Rodriguez 10-4 and Jason Klatt 10-4. Mike then played Warren Kiamco in the final and found himself down 9-5, but Mike did what he so often does which is dig deep and play some of his best pool to win 8 of the next 9 games and end up with a 13-10 victory to become champion of this event.
Thank you to Gotham City Billiards owners Kevin and Isabel Buckley for hosting such a great tournament and to Tony Robles for running it. Pictured are Tony, Mike and Kevin and we would also like to say thank you to Eli Ceballos for providing us with this great photo. You can check out his website at www.cryfoto.com
