Message from former CBSA Vice President Kyle Richard

Sep 17, 2015

It is with much regret that I must announce, as of 15 Sep 15, I am no longer a member of the Canadian Billiards and Snooker Association (CBSA). During the CBSA 2015 Annual General Meeting, I fulfilled my obligation to serve a 2 year term as a director (Vice President). I was then nominated to accept another 2 year term which I subsequently declined. I offered to remain in my position as Vice President until all vacant board member positions were filled and the resultant formal elections were held. I may continue to help the CBSA as a volunteer in the future if conditions permit. Recently the CBSA decided on the positions for all of the current directors as shown below:
Randall Morrison - President
John White - Vice President
Brian Butler - Vice President
Frank Kakouros - Treasurer
Candace Campbell - Secretary
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of them good luck with their future CBSA efforts. I would also like to ask them to continue to keep the positive momentum going that we currently have with Cue Sports in Canada.
I would like to thank a few people in particular before leaving the CBSA:
Steve Cooper and Al Tirk, both former directors, for all of their hard work while volunteering with the CBSA.
Ross Kimble, the CBSA Webmaster, for all of his hard work over the years.
All of the different organizations and people involved in hosting a recent CBSA event.
All of the players who attended CBSA events over the years.
All of the Provincial Association members for volunteering their time and effort.
All of the CBSA sponsors for their support: Tiger Cues through Tony Kalamdaryan, Simonis Cloth and Aramith Balls through Ivan Lee, Diamond Billiard Products through Chad Scharlow, Kamui through John Bertone, Chalk Cube through Mario Paradis, FG Bradley’s through Brad MacIntosh, Think Green Industries through Roy and Jane Munn as well as Josten’s through Denise Trites.
The Pool Scene through Andrew Attard and Billiard Quebec through Guy Simard for helping to distribute CBSA information.
With everyone’s continued support, dedication and perseverance we can elevate Cue Sports to a higher level in Canada!
Thank you all!
Kyle Richard
