Ouschan conquers the top spot in the Euro-Tour ranking
With an extremely strong performance, Nick Malai (ALB) won the title at the Dynamic Billiards North Cyprus Open with a 9:5 victory over Albin Ouschan (AUT).

Already before the match it was clear that Ouschan would be the #1 ranked player of the Euro-Tour rankings after the event, no matter if he would win the final match or not. If that affected his performance in any way can only be assumed. “The balls did not roll in my favour”, said Ouschan after the match, “and the previous matches took a lot of energy off me. Also, I have reached my dream goal to be the #1 ranked player in Europe already so probably Nick’s victory is alright for me” stated a tired but happy Ouschan after the match. He made more mistakes than in his previous matches and in the end, Malai turned out to be the deserved winner of the final Euro-Tour of this season.
