Lucasi Tour Finale at BigWigs

We had 14 players out for the finals this weekend, displaying some great skill in amateur 8 ball action.
After 5 rounds of round robin play, Dave Corke and Ken Cannon tied with 18 wins, Bobby Drowns had 17, and we had a tie for the 4th and final pay spot between Ken Priestley and Ollie Howson at 15 Games each. Ken and Ollie then played a one game playoff to see who would advance to the money rounds where Ollie emerged victorious.

In the first round, Dave Corke defeated Ken Cannon and Ollie Howson beat Bobby Drowns setting up the finals between Ken and Bobby for 3rd-4th and Dave and Ollie for 1st-2nd.
Ken and Bobby decided to split the money and call it a day while the spectators were treated to a great match between Ollie and Dave.
Corke jumped out to a commanding 2-0 lead in the race to three final putting Howson on notice that he would have to TAKE the title if he wanted it.  Howson then got down to work and took 3 straight games to wrestle the title away from a great opponent.
