Congratulations to Stop # 8 winner and new Ocean State 9-Ball Champion, Jayson Shaw ($2,700)
This season's Al Conte Memorial tournament will take place on December 5 & 6 at Hippos House Of Billiards in Yorkville NY, just outside of Utica. This event, Stop # 6, was originally scheduled for Nov. 7-8 but was moved to the new date (Dec 5 & 6) to allow its new operator time to take over the reins. Hippos is scheduled for re-opening on Dec. 1st, just ahead of our event. Our new host is Andrea Duvall who is excited to have been able to keep this tournament in tact this season. Andrea has added her own touch by adding a new website www.hipposyorkville.com, a new Facebook page, delicious homemade food specials and now even free Wi Fi. Hippos still has 12, 9 foot Gabriel tables and 8, 7 footers. There will also, once again, be a $1,700 custom engraved Joss Cue up for grabs in her cue raffle. Anyone can participate and you do not have to be present to win. So let's all get together at Hippos and show her a Big Joss Tour welcome and maybe even win yourself a nice Christmas present like a $1,700 cue. This event at Hippos will consist of a $1500 added Saturday and Sunday Main Event (entry Fee $120 for pro level or $70 for non pro level) and a $500 added consolation event on Sunday ($20 Entry Fee) for those non pro players eliminated from the main event on Saturday.
For those of you coming to play, please arrive on Saturday Dec. 5, Before Noon, and in proper dress please. Yes, jeans and sneakers are permitted in our billiard parlor events. But please, NO T-SHIRTS, TANKS, SHORTS OR SWEATS. Complete tour info can be found on our site www.joss9balltour.com
This is our final event until our $25,000 Added "Turning Stone Classic XXV 9-Ball Open", Jan. 7-10, 2016. Please join us there for another world class event.
