Joss Tour, $1500/$500 Added, Apr 12 & 13, Golden Cue, Albany NY

Apr 7, 2014

Players & Fans,
Stop # 11 of this season's Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour will take place on April 12 & 13 at the newly renovated Golden Cue Billiard Lounge in Albany NY. Rocco Spinelli Jr, owner of the Golden Cue, is our host for this edition of the "Northeast 9-Ball Open XXVII" and he deserves much thanks for his continued generosity and support of our tour. The Golden Cue is one of upstate New York's largest and oldest rooms. With the new remodeling by Rocco, it now includes a beautiful new beer and wine bar as well as a full kitchen with daily homemade specials, giving us everything needed for another great event. Whether you come to play, or just watch, you will also have the opportunity to win a gorgeous, custom, engraved, Joss Cue valued at $1,500, by participating in the Golden Cue's cue raffle. Anyone can participate and you don't have to be present to win! The drawing will be just prior to the final match of the main event on Sunday. So come on down and play and win, watch for free, enjoy some great food and drink, and take a chance at a $1,000 Joss Cue! The cue can be viewed here: http://www.josscues.com/html/cues/cus-04.html#logo
To save money on a motel, there is a nearby (4 miles) Red Roof Inn (Wolf Road, Colonie NY) where if you use the www.azbilliards.com promo code of 602763, you will receive a 20% discount. For more info about the Golden Cue and nearby motels, please contact the Cue directly at 518-459-9442.
For those of you coming to play, please arrive on Saturday April 12th, Before Noon, and in proper dress please. Yes, jeans and sneakers are permitted in our billiard parlor events. But please, NO T-shirts, tanks, shorts or sweats. Complete tour info can be found on our site www.joss9balltour.com
This event at the Golden Cue will consist of a $1500 added Saturday and Sunday Main Event (entry Fee $120 for pro level or $70 for non pro level) and a $500 added consolation event on Sunday ($20 Entry Fee) for those non pro players eliminated from the main event on Saturday.
I can't stress enough how important it is for all of you to please frequent your local billiard parlors and utilize the services of our most generous sponsors who are the backbone of our sport. These are the ones who keep our sport alive. So tell your friends and get out and play!
Thank You,
Mike Zuglan
