Froland bags the “2-5” 8 Ball!

On Sunday, the 5th of June 2016, Shooters Snooker Club in Toronto held the “2-5” 8 Ball event having 25 registered players. It was a nice and warm Sunday morning as all the players were ready for some heavy upcoming action. The Calcutta started at 11:45 am sharp and ended 35 minutes later. At 12:30 pm, the games started and the atmosphere changed gradually. On the other hand, there were the GPL Regional Playoffs therefore Shooters had quite a huge number of attendants. The “+” handicap seemed to be working perfectly and it was kept into practice to even out the tournament winner and not be biased. After a few games here and there, the following was the update:
A-Final:
Art Bertoni vs. Froland Magsanoc
B-Side:
Brandyn Griffin vs Steve Dutra
Art Bertoni lost to Froland Magsanoc hill- hill. On the other side, Brandyn Griffin emerged as the winner ready to face Art Bertoni for the B side final. Brandyn played perfectly and beat Art Bertoni to secure his 2nd place position. Froland Magsanoc was declared the winner as he beat Brandyn Griffin in the A Side final.
