First female to enter a Euro-Tour quarter-final ever

Oct 19, 2012

With an impressive performance, Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) defeated Mark Gray (GBR) in the round of the final 16 players with 9:4.
Ouschan played top level pool billiard. She showed no nervousness and she is the first female ever to make it to the quarter-finals of a men’s Euro-Tour event. In another breath-taking thriller, her brother Albin Ouschan (AUT) also came out on top of Serge Das (BEL). If they both win their quarter-final matches, they will meet in the semi-final.
One indication how close the level of competition is here at the Dynamic Billiards North Cyprus Euro-Tour is the fact that 50% of the matches of the previous round ended 9:8.
