CBSA Open Pool Championships - Change in Stage 1 Venue

Dear CBSA Provincial Associations / Supporters / Friends;
Due to unforeseen circumstances the venue for Stage 1 of the Open Pool Championships have had to be moved to Shooters Snooker & Sports Club, the host of our Championships for the last number of years. The host hotel for Stage 1 will remain the same, & the reservation deadline has been extended to March 21, 2014. This information will be on the CBSA website soon.
Please find below a note from Jim Wych explaining why the change in venues had to be made:
"It is with regret that I can announce that The Corner Bank Sports Bar & Grill will be unable to assume its role as host venue for this year's qualifying stages of the Canadian pool championships. Unexpected delays in construction and the forced delay in opening make it impossible for us to fulfill this responsibility. In the interim the qualifying stages will move over to Shooters Snooker and Sports Bar with the same hotel and negotiated rate still being offered. We sincerely apologize to the CBSA for this unfortunate circumstance and look forward to hosting future cue sport events on their behalf.
As a side note, this unforeseen delay will in no way compromise our position as host venue for the upcoming 2014 Canadian Snooker Championships scheduled for this June.
