Canada Loses Heartbreaker at World Cup of Pool

In the first round match, John Morra & Jason Klatt defeated Malta led by Tony Drago by a score of 8-4. Day two match-up was against the Philippines (A Team) of Dennis Orcullo and Ronnie Alcano. After trading the first few games led 3 - 2 and Jason missed a routine straight in five in the side but to his credit he was a tad snug on the side rail with that said he didn't have to do anything at all with the cue ball. That was a huge swing game.
The drama unfolds after regaining there composure, they found themselves leading the match 6-4. At that point Jason and John play hooks on the next two balls only to find Alcano kicking in both shots not to mention getting perfect shape both times. John and Jason could only sit and watch as the local team run out the match to a winning score of 8-6. A very hard match to watch and swallow although most of the match was of very high quality. Nice try guys, hope to see you next year.
