Brittany comes home to take the title!

Fresh off her 1st Place Finish at the Music City Women’s 9 Ball Open in Madison, TN, Brittany Bryant came home to take a short break, and to compete in the Royal City 9 Ball Challenge in her home poolroom, Tony’s Billiards in Guelph, Ontario.

The 32 player field once again brought out some extremely tough competitors, and Brittany had a tough draw, meeting up with Dave Parker to start the tourney.  She won her first round 7-4, and then continued on her run on the A Side, meeting up with opponents Greg Plester, Terry Martin and Ben Chang.  In the A Side semis, her opponent Jesse Piercey sent her to the B Side, with Jesse winning 8-6.  Brittany went over to play Jason Montgomery, in an exciting match, Britt gave Jason the 3rd Place win, by beating him 7-5.
The final match was extremely exciting to watch, as Brittany once again faced Jesse, but this time beating him 7-6, making her the 5th RCC Champion!
Congratulations to Brittany, Jesse and Jason and thank you to all the amazing players who came out to once again, make this tournament such a HUGE success!  The next event is scheduled for March 1st 2014
