Borin is Victorious at BigWigs Lucasi Amateur Tour

The first tour stop of the summer Lucasi Amateur Tour was held on June 16 at BigWigs in Newmarket.  It was a mainly local affair and the familiarity between the players made for exciting matches. Making it to the money stage were Ken Cannon, Cody Ward and Borin Chea, all Lucasi tour regulars, and tour newcomer Ken Priestley. The Kens battled to 3rd and 4th spots while Cody Ward was forced to settle for 2nd as Borin Chea had the magic touch to win hill-hill over the newly crowned Canadian junior champ.
Congrats to all the prize winners and thank you to all who showed up for the first event of the season. We look forward to seeing you at the next events.
