3 and a Half Men Take Tailgators

Tailgators was packed this past weekend as players from all over Ontario and Quebec invaded the nations Capital to compete in the 12th annual Ottawa Barbox Tournament. Thursday and all day Friday was dedicated to singles with team play starting Friday night and going all weekend. There are five different divisions ranging from the recreational Budweiser division to the ultra talent filled Gold division. This tournament is unique in that it really promotes the atmosphere of fun and ambiance. Friday night there was a DJ playing and on Saturday the Budweiser girls were brought in to do a break competition for make the make wish foundation.
Besides the fun and partying there was plenty of great pool being played as well. On finals Sunday their were spectators everywhere and they treated to a thriller as the gold team finals came down to one 8ball game to determine the winner. Pat Moulton ran out a tension packed table to give "3 AND A HALF MEN" from Ottawa a win over their Quebec rivals "SPA MECHANT".

In the silver final "THE REID PROJECT" from Toronto played unreal and absolutely crushed "GLENS STDS" from Ottawa.
The huge bronze division saw " EWEN WHOSE ARMY" from Ottawa edge out "PRINCESS DI AND THE BOYZ" from Toronto.
The equally big and balanced Copper division had the "POOL JUNKIES" from Orleans beat "FUBAR" from Ottawa to capture the title.
Finally in the Budweiser division, "NOT SO SHARP SHOOTERS" from Ottawa beat "CRAKIN CUES" from North Bay. To see all the results go www.compusport.ca and click tournaments than Tailgators.
