2011 WPBA Regional Tour Championship

Bogie's Billiards & Games in Houston, Texas hosted the four day event which was live streamed courtesy of Pool Dawg. Canada was well represented with four of our regional players making the trip south of the border. Denise Belanger, Joanne Ashton, Jana Montour and Veronique Menard were all vying to earn their WPBA pro-cards.

The format was true double knockout, race to 9 on the A-side and race to 7 on the B-side. The top 8 players got a spot on the WPBA tour. Congratulations to Joanne Ashton and Veronique Menard who finished in the top 8. Joanne moved to the Toronto area a few months ago and is working as the house pro at Wacky Wings in Mississauga. Veronique Menard plays out of Quebec.
