Joss Northeast 9-Ball

Joss Tour, $1500/$500 Added, T.J's Classic Billiards, Waterville Me. Oct, 4 & 5

Players & Fans,
Congratulations to our Turning Stone Classic XXII 9-Ball Open Champion, Jayson Shaw ($8,000)
The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour will kick off it’s 18th season October 4 & 5 at TJ’s Classic Billiards in beautiful Waterville Maine. “The Maine Event VIII” will once again be generously hosted by Steve and Tammy Reynolds, owners of TJ’s and home of the current Junior National Champion Taylor Reynolds. They deserve our thanks for not only putting up the $2,000 added, but also allowing us the use of their great room for the weekend. Why not show your thanks by coming to TJ’s and not only participate in or view this great event, but also take a chance at winning a beautiful custom, engraved, collectible Joss Cue valued at $1,275! You don’t even need to be present to win!! This gorgeous cue can be seen here: 2014-25 tour cue Also while at TJ’s you can enjoy some of Tammy’s home cooking and a beer or two if you like. You could even make this a mini vacation as it will be at or near peak leaf viewing season. Steve and Tammy have even arranged a couple of motels who will give a discount to Joss Tour players and fans. The closest motel (walking distance) is the Budget Host Inn ($69.95 king – $79.95 double, 207-873-3366) or you can try The Best Western Waterville Grand just a short drive away ($79 single or double, 207-873-0111). To get these special rates, mention the pool tournament at TJ’s Classic Billiards. For any other info please call TJ’s directly at 207-877-7665.
On a sad note, we are dedicating this edition of “The Main Event” to the memory of our fellow player, room owner and dear friend Kerry Herbert, who passed away suddenly this summer. Kerry was a giant of a man not only in stature but also for his passion for our great game. He was the former owner of Spot Shot Billiards in Portland where he hosted many of our events including 2 of our $25,000 added Season Finales. He will surely be missed by all of us!
