Scandinavian festival in 9-ball

The final medals have been awarded today at the Dynamic Billard European Youth Championships 2019 in veldhoven, The Netherlands. 9-ball individuals and team competition was played.

The 9-ball individuals turned into a Scandinavian festival. With My Nguyen (SWE; girls), Emil-Andre Gangflot (NOR; U17) and Christoffer Lentz (DEN; U19) three players from the Northern European countries went for the gold medals.

In the team competition, Team Germany won the U19, Team Poland won the U17 and Team Russia took the Gold Medal in the girls division.

The final match in the U19 9-ball competition was played between Christoffer Lentz and Mustafa Alnar (TNC). It was only thrilling in the first 4 racks when Alnar was able to show some active resistance. After a score of 2:2, it was only Lentz who demonstrated high class pool while Alnar lost his track completely. The final result in that match was 8:2 in favour of the Danish.
