A relatively small field of 24 players were in attendance at the seventh stop of the 4 Points Tour in Newmarket.
Top amateurs Ben Chang and Issac Ramos continued their domination in southern Ontario as both players went deep into the money rounds. Issac held his composure after dropping his first match to Vince Belanger (8-7). Issac followed it up with 7 consecutive wins over Ken Botham (8-6), Wade Hill (8-3), Jyri Kari (8-2), Ken Cannon (8-1), Vince Belanger (8-5), Laurent Saletti (8-3) and Ben Chang (8-5).
In the finals, Issac Ramos and veteran professional Mario Morra agreed to split the cash and unscrew their cues. Special thanks to the tournament director Blain Jorgensen and staff at BigWigs for hosting this event.
